Responsible for tracking and closeouts of near miss, non conformities, incidents, navigation audits, audits, internal and external inspections; and identifying areas of improvement
Participate in incident investigations to promote learning and loss prevention
Contribute to quality safety publications and sharing of lessons learnt within the Organization
Assist in implementation of Behavioral Competency Framework to improve safety performance on board the vessels
Conduct ship visits to carry out on board audits, inspections and investigations
Responsible for carrying out and reviewing risk assessments and maintaining risk assessment library
Respond to safety meetings of the vessels and discuss follow up actions with various departments
Assist in setting up the Safety Management System (SMS) and prepare new vessels for immediate trading
Collate and monitor fleet environment performance on a regular basis and analyze the information to improve performance
