Carry out regular SMS review and be responsible to maintain up to date procedures. Will actively participate in the development and continual improvement of fleet management software for safety management systems on board and ashore
Involve in briefing/debriefing/induction/conference calls of seafarers in the areas of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)
Conduct quality audits as required across the organization. Gather and analyze data from ship/shore inspection/audits to monitor trends and develop improvement areas
Analyze performance of on board trainers, identify areas of improvement and training needs
Engage in research and project work as required to improve the processes or procedures
Contribute towards development and delivery of departmental strategies and targets
Be part of the development of the HSEQ team to achieve individual and team goals
